"Aftab Port, the first private port for transporting cars and passenger to Kish Island got ready." The head of Norooz facilitation organization said.

Maqsod Asadi Samani in an interview with Irna Correspondent said: "The port starts to work two days before New Year and is located 17 kilometers away from Kish Island."

"High speed boats need 20 minutes to travel between Aftab port and Kish Island, while large boats need 45 minutes."

Mr. Samani also added: "Kish navy service organization provides the path with many boats, and two boats, 70 and 80 people capacity, and one 150 car boat will transfer passengers and cars during Norooz holidays.
